After earning a degree in Business Management from Appalachian State University in 1999, he joined the company full-time and stepped into a leadership role in 2016, following in his father’s footsteps. In 2020, Carter led a rebrand that restored the company’s original name, Fowler Brothers Co. Home & Patio, honoring its rich legacy while positioning it for the future.

Carter is deeply committed to both his business and his community. He takes a forward-thinking approach to leadership, blending time-honored traditions with fresh ideas to ensure the company’s continued success for future generations. His dedication extends beyond Fowler Brothers Co., as he is actively involved in Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church and the Little Brown Church, where he contributes his time to service and outreach efforts.

Outside of work, Carter embraces an active lifestyle and values quality time with his family. He lives on Signal Mountain with his wife, Kami, their two children, and their dog, Louie, sharing a deep love for outdoor adventures. Whether rock climbing, hiking, or fly-fishing, he finds joy in exploring nature both near and far. His passion for travel takes him and his family to national parks across the country and breathtaking destinations around the world. Together, they explore new places, experience local traditions and cuisines, and create lasting memories that inspire both their personal lives and his professional vision.
